Yamuna Expressway Authority unveils new residential plot scheme near Noida Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has introduced a new residential plot scheme offering 451 plots in five size categories near the upcoming Noida International Airport, primarily catering to mid-income buyers. Registration for this scheme will remain open until November 30, 2024, with a lucky draw for allotments scheduled on December 27.

This latest launch responds to the growing demand for residential plots in proximity to the new airport. An official from YEIDA highlighted the heightened interest in the area due to the airport's development in Jewar, noting, “There is increasing demand for plots as people seek both residential and commercial investments near the airport.”

Following a similar scheme in October, which drew nearly 200,000 applicants for 361 plots, this new offering includes 452 plots in YEIDA Sector 24A, conveniently located near the Yamuna Expressway, the upcoming Film City in Sector 21, and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE).

The plots range from 120 to 260 square meters, priced at Rs 25,900 per square meter. The smallest plot (120 sq m) is priced at Rs 31.08 lakh, with larger plots available for Rs 41.95 lakh (162 sq m), Rs 51.8 lakh (200 sq m), Rs 64.75 lakh (250 sq m), and Rs 67.34 lakh (260 sq m), excluding additional charges and taxes. YEIDA anticipates generating approximately Rs 200 crore in revenue from this scheme.

Interested applicants can download the application and brochure from the YEIDA website, www.yamunaexpresswayauthority.com. Successful allottees must make a 100% upfront payment of the total premium, including the registration fee, within 60 days of receiving the allotment letter, which represents 10% of the total reserved premium for the plot.

This new scheme by YEIDA is expected to draw considerable interest as housing demand near the Noida International Airport continues to rise.
